The senior most students of the Institute, Kum. Meyyammai Palaniappan, Kum. Manasa Thankachy and Kum. Chandana, had the opportunity to present their performances on the prestigious platforms of dance festivals organised in Hassan (Karnataka), Jaganmohana Palace, Mysore (Karnataka) and Abuji Baba auditorium, Ooty (Tamil Nadu), in 2018. The students had a great learning experience through all these performances as this was their first outstation performance as young, upcoming artists. The students also received certificates of appreciation and momentos, giving them memories that will last a lifetime. Kum. Meyyammai, has had the privilege of performing in all the three places. These festivals were organised by the National Classical Dance Academy. The students hope to get further opportunities to showcase their talent and evolve as young dancers.The senior batch of Natarang School of Dance had an opportunity to perform at the All India Classical Dance Festival held at the Mahathi Auditorium in Tirupathi, organised by the National Classical Dance Academy. The students were awarded with the Govindaamrutha National Award, and the Guru. Kum. Preeti Sondur was invited as the Chief Guest and Guest Performer for the event along with other Guest Dancers, and she was awarded the National Natya Kala Rathna Award for her outstanding and extraordinary talent and dedication as a Guru in the field of Indian Performing Arts and the National Natya Shiromani Award.
