The Nataranjali Festival was a National festival held at Kolkatta on the 19th of January, 2018 in Gyan Manch Auditorium. The Director of the Festival was Smt. Soma Ghosh. Smt. Soma Ghosh is a Kathak Dancer and she aims at promoting the classical dance forms among the youth and among the society and thus organizes festivals at a National level in order to give a platform to both upcoming artistes as well as professional artistes.
The experience of performing at the Cultural City of India was great. There were performers frm various parts of the country like Assam, Mumbai, Hyderabad, etc. The festival witnessed all the different classical dance forms that our country is enriched with, from Bharatanatyam to Sattriya. Receiving the Nritya Vidushi award was indeed a blessing for me and everyone who was a part of the festival.
